Vegan Sausage Buns
ingredients:
1 clove of garlic
1 small onion
oil for the pan
1 block of firm plain tofu (200g = 7oz)
1⁄2 cup quick oats (45g)
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp BBQ sauce
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
2 tbsp cornstarch
a handful of fresh or frozen herbs
salt, pepper to taste
1-2 tbsp olive oil for frying
also 8 - 10 small rice paper sheets
2 onions, cut into rings and fried in ½ tbsp vegan butter and ½ tbsp of oil and seasoned to taste
mustard, ketchup
yields 8 - 10 tofu sausages
